Pokémon TCG market indexes · Updated monthly
The Pokémon card market, tracked like a stock index.
Indexes that track real baskets of graded cards and sealed product, starting with every XY and Black & White full-art Pokémon in PSA 9, plus my top picks every month. Follow the indexes you care about and check back each month.
Indexes
How the indexes work
Every index follows the same rules, so you can compare them side by side.
Pricing
Each card is priced at its most recent sale in the stated grade, with the date and where it sold. Every table also shows the average of its last five sales. A sale under half the middle of those five is treated as a bad listing (usually a damaged, mislabeled or wrong card) and skipped.
Weighting
A one-of-each index holds a single copy of every card, so each card's weight is its share of the basket's total value. Weights are listed in every index table.
Index level
Each index starts at 1,000 on the day it launches. A level of 1,100 means the basket is worth 10% more than it was then.
